History[]

Mikiko is a direct descendant of the Ebihara lineage, a clan of thieves and bandits, and is keeping the honor and tradition, as well as the fierce rivalry with the Mishima Shogun who pursued and almost annihilated them.

She is the direct descendant of Tatsuo Ebihara. She is one of the only people in 2455 who knows of the Daikatana's existence, along with her father, Toshiro Ebihara and Kage Mishima. She understands the great power of the Daikatana, and the oppression and control and manipulation of Kage Mishima, as well as his veil of lies, and the truth of the Mutagenic Marburg-Pox Filovirus and its cure.

Mikiko has been raised by Toshiro, and was seriously distraught by her mother's death, probably resulting in her harsh and uncaring nature. Her objective was to bring the Daikatana back to her family.

As of 2455, she is imprisoned in the Level 4 research complex of Mishima Fortress receiving "VIP treatment" until she was released by Superfly Johnson and Hiro Miyamoto. She learns that her father has been killed, not by the virus but by Mishima's ninjas. She insists ongoing to find Daikatana, even alone, and they go to the Vault.

In 1200 BC she ends up unconscious in the Catacombs until found by Hiro. They reach the Acropolis and leads Hiro to the Parthenon, thanks to her knowledge of Greek letters. Together they rescue Superfly from the Medusa.

In 560 she is biten by a poisoned rat and falls sick. After finding Musilde, she asks him to tell them about that place. Johnson believed that there would be no point in finding King Gharroth to help them, as he was controlled by Nharre, but Mikiko suggested to do the same they did before; by defeating Nharre the King would help them. However at some point she has to remain behind at the Entrance to Garroth's castle, and ensures them she will be fine, until the guys find a Medicine.

In 2030 they escaped Alcatraz but Superfly was serapated from them. Through the Parking lot they reached Mishima's private shuttle and Mikiko suggested to use a private object for idenitfication on a panel; Hiro used his Daikatana. Thus they reached the Secret research institute where Mikiko met her ancestor Tatsuro. She convinces she is from the future by mentioning she knows the existence of the Daikatana, explaining it is the way they travelled to the past. Tatsuro asked her to pass the DNA check of the top-secret research room and bring his Experimental Data from there. Once she convinces him, she warns that he will discover a vaccine which Kage will steal to control the world. He gives them his ID card, and tells them that Kage should be at the Heliport to visit the Naval base.

After the final defeat of Kage, the team reaches the Nuclear Reactor where Kage was recharging the Daikatana. During a power outage Mikiko incapacitates Superfly and then attacks Hiro in order to kill him and claim the Daikatana. Hiro defeats her and she escapes to the nuclear core; she is followed by Hiro and Superfly. In her attempt to push him in the liquid, she falls to her death; followed by Superfly who attempts to save her.

Alternate world
In an alternate world she had a quest at Fujiyama to recover the Daikatana and made a mistake. She was with Superfly when her father told her not to worry about her failure. She insisted she worried about Kage's leftovers and suggested to seek the help from Usagi's descendant. Even while her father and Superfly feared that Daikatana did not exist, she insisted that their main objective was to create an Utopia, and she would continued the quest even if she went alone.
